HISTORY
Hellenic Cultural Bridge traces its roots to the foundation of Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy – Belgium (HICDB). Since 2020, as part of a wider international network, the Belgian entity operated under that name, coordinating and implementing cross-cultural programmes in line with the parent organisation.
Over time, the Belgian organisation matured and developed its own identity and operational independence. In 2025, a formal rebranding was carried out: the name Hellenic Cultural Bridge was adopted to better reflect our mission to act as a bridge between Greek culture and the global sphere, while emphasising our autonomy, local responsibility, and global outlook.
Though our name has changed, our core mission remains: to foster dialogue, exchange, cultural cooperation, and mutual inspiration across Greece, Belgium, and the international community.
